Which error-correction level should I choose?
M (about 15% recovery) is fine for most cases; choose Q (25%) or H (30%) when the code will be printed on surfaces that wear out or need a logo overlay — at the cost of a denser pattern for the same content.
Do generated QR codes expire?
No. Your content is encoded directly into the QR pattern itself — there is no redirect short link — so scanning always returns the original content, permanently.
What if the QR code will not scan?
The usual cause is too little contrast between foreground and background (use a dark foreground on a light background), or a pattern that is too small. Keep the displayed size at least 200×200 px and leave blank space around the code.
Is my content uploaded when generating a QR code?
No. The QR code is generated in real time by JavaScript locally in your browser; nothing you type is sent to a server.
