FAQ
How does the jet lag planner work?
It reads the IANA time zone of your departure and arrival cities (daylight-saving aware), computes the real hour gap, then builds a per-hour shift plan: roughly one hour of adjustment per day, tuned to your sleep type.
Why use real time zones instead of a fixed offset?
Many cities change offset for daylight saving. Using IANA zones means the gap is correct for your actual travel dates, not a rough estimate.
How many days before should I start adjusting?
As a rule of thumb, shift about one hour per day. For an 8-hour gap, start 7-8 days early if you can; the plan tells you the ideal start date.
Is the plan medical advice?
No. It is a practical scheduling aid based on circadian-rhythm guidance. For sleep disorders or medication, consult a clinician.
